Alaska Football Episode 5

My friends and I were over by the endzone stretching and talking to each other as we were a little nevous yet calm cause we don't play. Coach was talking to our quarterback Nick Zilinksi who looked terrified and by the looks of this team the only thing we could do was get killed. Our coach sat us all down in the lockeroom once again as he gave a speech and got us fired up that's when we ran as fast as we could out of the tunnel as I looked around and saw tons and tons of green and white in the audience. I looked up and there was the big TV where you could see what was happening.

At that moment coach sent Nick, Gerald, and Brett (our running back) to the coin toss as we won it and  that caused us to be the team recieving the kickoff. Michigan state stadium was blasting with fans yelling as the kicker flicked the ball the fans yelled GO STATE! and the ball went 63 yards so our kick returner ran across the field but before even making it to the 20 yard line he got tripped up at the 12 by a huge 270 pound guy and the training staff walked on the field as he calimed his ankle was sprained or broken they took him off the field.

Now Nick took full control of the offense as the play was a pass he tried to fire the ball to a reciever named Kinney who then dropped a simple pass coach Holcomb flippped out and he got really upset that's when he signeled the offense to run HB stretch wihich was just a little outside handoff. The results of thta play were very ugly as it was a lose of six yards so now it was 3rd and 16 ball on the 6. The play call was zig zag routes as Nick called hike he dropped back but he could not find anyone so he rolled out the other way but right when he turned his should bam! a Michigan state player sacked him so we were forced to punt.

Alaska Football Episode 4

All of us checked out our bags and went threw tons of annoying stuff. Then we got on the bus and it took us to East Lansing. I could just tell that we were at the college by the way the people looked on the outside and now the big broad sign came up saying "Michigan State University". We now arrived as we got out of the bus and walked up to the field.

I then saw more people than I have ever seen in my entire life and the crowd kept yelling stuff like go green, go white. My team was now in the locker room and our coaches were talking to us as we knew the game plan . After that all of us stretched and threw the ball around. I got to say I was horrified by the way there team looked with there sleeves and visors on there helmets also the fact that most of them out weighted us by like 50 pounds and I bet there quarterback was bigger then our linebacker.

Alaska Football episode 3

The Big game

       My team had been so nervous and we just wanted to win and we were playing a team called Michigan State and they were ranked number 14 in the nation so it would not be a fun game. We were on the plane and the coach was writing up some plays.  My friends and I were hanging out and sitting together as we looked out through the window. I got up to go to the bathroom and on my way there coach Holcomb stopped me to talk. He said, "I need you to watch Gerald and see what formations the offense lines up in so he can be more successful, got it". "Yes coach”, I responded. Gerald was our starting middle linebacker. Another thing I saw was our. Quarterback studying formations and other things included with plays and such.

When I got back my friends were listening to music and they didn't listen to me at all. That's when I decided to do that as well. We were almost landing and  I could see the platform by now as the ball flew from a steeper position. Now we hit the ground and we stopped at a area and we got off.

Alaska Football episode 2

Day by day weather stayed the same and football practices got worst and worst but one thing’s for sure we looked pretty sharp. And the first game was next Saturday. Our coach got really mad because he thought we needed to be more enthusiastic although I thought we looked great. Coach Tom had the scout team come out so we could get a little more practice. My position was 2^nd string Linebacker and right now I got to go in. The season would be easier because I just kind of sat on the bench and watched so technically my position was Linebacker but my role was benchwarmer. Now our linebacker was insane and he could just sack any quarter back he wanted to so I could tell coach Kyle would play him a lot

Our head coach was coach Holcomb, defensive coordinator was coach Kyle, and our offensive coordinator was coach Wing. Now coach Wing was the nicest coach and our other coach: Coach Kyle had a bunch of tooth decay and he was very strict but not even close to meeting coach Holcomb. Practice was just working on blocking and punts.

Alaska football episdoe 1

The night never ended we did quarter back drills as we could kind of all tell that out quarter back was the team but we still had a chance even without him, well at least that’s what I believed.  I hated this night but only twenty minutes of practice were left so we just did special teams the entire time until practice was over.

            I went to my fraternity and invited a few friends over to hang out with the guys in my fraternity. We drank a lot of hot chocolate to warm up and basically the entire night we played our favorite video game Fifa 14. Nobody felt happier then me. I checked out the window and one way to describe it was Jack Frost had been eating icicles on the ceiling of my house.

Alaska football (first series i've made)

It was Thanksgiving and a tough night was the case as it was 21 degrees Fahrenheit with a horrible snow storm. Now these two players who were both football players had been in the middle of a blistering cold snow storm and there coach was a total football freak so they just had to play on through the horrible weather.

            Now the reason why we had to keep going is because a new college football team goes to play in the league and it had been called University of Alaska (UOA). And so everyone in Alaska was so excited and the coach was a total freak ad his name was Dave Holcomb and all the players hated him but after all he was a good coach and really wanted to make a bowl game this year or whatever they’re called. You see Alaska was new to this so we didn’t understand all of the activities that were displayed for the NCAA .
